We invite you to explore ways you can provide for the church, through financial offering, donations of time and talent or working in the community to share God’s love. We know it changes lives — ours and the people we’re reaching. This page is dedicated to helping you find ways for you to best serve, but please feel free to reach out to any of the team leads if you have questions or ideas on alternative you can serve with your unique gifts.
Time & Talents
In addition to your financial gifts, your time and talents can make an enormous difference in accomplishing God’s plan on Earth. Visit the Volunteer Opportunities page to see some of the many ways you can get directly involved in God’s work.
We want to help simplify your giving. Please look at the attachment titled Ways to Share God’s Abundance to compare different options for sharing your financial resources.
Weekly offering envelopes are a great way to combine your giving with attendance at worship services. Simply drop your gifts in the offering plate, and your personalized envelope number will assure that your contributions are properly credited. Offering envelopes can also be mailed if you can’t attend a service. In addition there are special envelopes for special causes, such as outreach and missions. Please feel free to reach out to Greg or Jack on the stewardship group if you need a supply of offering envelopes.
Electronic Giving (eGiving or Bank Bill Pay)
eGiving is a service of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, provides a means of electronic giving to Lutheran congregations. Trinity has participated in the eGiving program for many years to help our members make contributions easily and securely online, on a one-time or recurring basis. Enrollment is easy, simply click on the link below and log in or create your profile.
2) Bank Bill Pay
Bank Bill Pay is another method of making electronic donations is through your bank’s online system. Please look at your Bill Pay section of your on-line bank to learn how to make one-time or recurring donations via your checking or saving account.
Reasons to sign up for Electronic Giving:
- No need to write checks or bring cash to church
- Peace of mind knowing that the church is receiving your contribution even if you are unable to attend
- Can contribute directly from your checking or savings account
- Can contribute using a credit/debit card
- All contributions are recorded for you on your bank statement
Stocks and Securities
Gifts of appreciated stocks and securities can be an excellent way to share God’s gifts. There are two ways to make a donation of securities: through an electronic transfer authorization or physical delivery. To ensure that we can acknowledge your gift for income tax purposes, please notify Greg or Jack on the stewardship group in advance of the transmittal
Option 1: Electronic Transfer Authorization
Your broker can electronically transfer your securities to Trinity. You can download the Stock Transfer Form at the bottom of this page and follow the instructions on it when you make your gift.
Option 2: Physical Delivery
If you have stock certificates, you may deliver them in person, by registered mail, or by courier to Trinity’s office. If they are registered in your name, you will need to provide an Irrevocable Stock/Bond Power Form found at the bottom of this page.
For more information, please contact Greg or Jack on the stewardship group

Mission & Ministry Focus
Are you passionate about a cause, either close to home or in the world at large? God’s kingdom extends beyond the walls of Trinity, and so can your giving. Watch the bulletin, this website and our social media channels for opportunities for special contributions each month during the year. The outreach committee is working to find opportunities both within the church and out in the community – but we love to hear your ideas! Contact Dorri or Russell on the outreach committee if you have ways Trinity can help others.
